On grey cold winter days, who can deny the warming effect of a hot bowl of soup? Personally, I don’t need snowy frigid weather to prompt me to make soup but there is something deeply satisfying about setting a large simmering pot on the stove on those days. I love how simple ingredients can create a richly flavourful and nourishing meal.
