Holiday and Christmas baking celebrates traditional cookies but also welcomes new recipes. My guess is that this recipe will earn special status each year. Yes, it’s that good! Not too sweet, the soft loaf slices beautifully to reveal a lovely orange-scented walnut filling. It’s a true biscotto (singular of biscotti) only if you decide to bake it twice, hence the prefix “bi.” Truthfully, my family prefers only one baking, preserving the cake-like texture of each slice.
